Halloween 2011

My friends and I don't have anything planned for Halloween this year. I'll probably just settle in for a quiet evening and scare myself silly with horror flicks.

Laid-back autumn

They say nature is at its finest in autumn. I'm going to have to second that! It was in Paris where I first experienced fall, and what can I say, it's absolutely stunning! I fell in love instantly with the colors of autumn, the falling leaves, and the blending and swaying of trees in beautiful patterns that happen only in the fall.

Here's a track off their latest album Junk of the Heart. I think Inside In/Inside Out is still their best work, but Junk of the Heart is certainly worth a listen.

Health update: because I know you all care!

The past few days have really put my health to the test. I was diagnosed with pneumonia last week and had to stay in the hospital for a few days so doctors could look after me. The good news is, I'm out of the hospital already. I got discharged Tuesday and am now back home resting and just trying to regain some strength before I go back to work on Monday. The bad news is, that doesn't mean I'm pneumonia-free already. Apparently, pneumonia is no joke. It's going to take time and I'm going to have to make some changes in my lifestyle before I get full recovery. Perhaps it's about time that I start taking my health seriously.

Back to scratch!

I won't even explain anymore why after just 5 months of blogging using another account, I'm here trying to start a new one again!  All I know is that I have the attention span of a gnat. End of story.

I will keep my words to a minimum this time. Less talking, more visuals. I don't want to beat myself up over my writing anymore.  I just want to have fun and for once, take blogging lightly.

Let's just get the ball rolling, shall we?
