2012 destinations #1: Singapore

I'm always so lazy these days, which explains why I haven't been blogging much lately. But fret no more for I am back! :)

Which reminds me, I have yet to share with you my long weekend/Chinese New Year in Singapore. Not much has changed since my last visit: Singapore is still very clean and very humid. Hence, the hot-weather outfits. They're a far cry from the boots, coats, and thick cardigans I wore on my European trips prior to this.

Time is nothing - a journey around the world

I've been to many places already and have seen parts of the world I never thought I would, but videos like this make me yearn for more!

New year's eve celebrations in different parts of the world

It's a dream for travel aficionados like myself to spend new year's eve in any major capital of the world, and that's exactly what I intend to accomplish this year! But until then, videos and pictures will have to suffice. Just how beautiful were the firework shows in Dubai, London, Berlin, Paris, and Sydney?

There are places I remember: Barcelona

Bright and early for the first La Liga classico. It's times like these that make me nostalgic for the city of Barcelona. I really wouldn't have left if only I had a choice.

One day I swear, I will go back to Barcelona and stay forever. MARK.MY.WORDS. 

New addiction

Whoever came up with Instagram is a genius! It's amazing how a simple photo app can be this fun and engrossing. So much so that I spend more time now on my Iphone than on any other device. Even my reading has taken a backseat to instagramming, which is kind of unfortunate now that I think about it. But, whatever!

There are places I remember: Roma

Last night I dreamt of me and two of my friends planning a getaway to one of my favorite places in the world: the majestic city of Rome! The best part was, the trip would only cost us 45 Euros! Now that's the kind of dreams you wish were real! Haha! I woke up midway through so I don't know if we made it to Rome. I'd like to think we did!

I've been thinking a lot about Switzerland lately. I long for its fresh air, clean surroundings, and breathtaking landscapes. Maybe it's because I'm still recovering from a respiratory disease and the last thing I need is the terrible air quality that we have here in Manila.
