What I want to eat right now!

There's this churro stand ("churreria" as they say in Spain) called El Riojano just a stone's throw away from our hotel in Burgos.

They sell these amaaayziiing chocolate-coated churros, which I'm currently craving like a maniac.

Regular churros are not so bad themselves. They are in fact very delish! Freshy fried, sprinkled with just the right amount of sugar, and the best part is—you don't know orgasm (oops!) 'till you've tasted the complementary chocolate dip.

Plus, the vendor was really friendly. But then again, Spaniards in general are a friendly race. They're a far cry from the aloof Parisians and yeah, the snooty Romans.

How about you, is there anything you're craving?

There are places I remember: Switzerland

I've been thinking a lot about Switzerland lately. I long for its fresh air, clean surroundings, and breathtaking landscapes. Maybe it's because I'm still recovering from a respiratory disease and the last thing I need is the terrible air quality that we have here in Manila.

Cuffs. Rings. Necklaces

I'm not too big on accessories. I've always been a minimalist when it comes to accessorizing. But looking at these images...

I think I just had a change of heart?

"Here's to book, the cheapest vacation you can buy!" - Charlaine Harris

I'll be traveling to Italy, Spain, and France over the next few weeks through these books. This should tell you something about my attachment to the overwhelmingly beautiful continent of Europe. That even if I'm in another place, I will at least find a way to still be there without actually being there, you know what I'm saying?

Things I will forever love #1: Cardigans

Times like these, when the weather is not exactly conducive to dressing up, I know I can rely on a nice, comfy cardi to protect me from the cold and at the same time, keep me stylish even without the dress and the sky-high heels I refuse to wear on wet days. Comfort and style in one article of clothing.

Halloween 2011

My friends and I don't have anything planned for Halloween this year. I'll probably just settle in for a quiet evening and scare myself silly with horror flicks.

Looking at pictures of last year's festivities, remembering all the fun we had...
